The Map is a program broadcast on community radio station Edge Radio 99.3FM in nipaluna/Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Hosted by Aeron Clark, the program provides a dedicated home for Tasmanian music of all styles. Running since August 2015, The Map has welcomed hundreds of local musicians into the studio. These artists are often experiencing their crucial first interaction with media, and just as often end up becoming serial guests at the station as their confidence grows. It is extremely important to The Map, and to Edge Radio, that local artists feel welcome and valued, and thus encouraged to continue participating in the local music ecosystem. The show has twice been declared a finalist in the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia’s annual awards.

Edge Radio is a not-for-profit community station, in Hobart, Tasmania. As Hobart’s only youth station, Edge Radio provides a mix of music, entertainment, local journalistic content and information to enhance Hobart’s cultural landscape. Edge Radio broadcasts to the greater Hobart area on 99.3FM.

Airing each Tuesday from 6pm-8pm AEST in Hobart, aka Tuesday 2am-4am ET in New York, and 7am-9am GMT in London.
